Our Programs

Disability Right and Advocacy Program

OHANA has been partnering with international disability rights organizations and other stakeholders to promote disability rights and policy advocacy, good practices on the CRPD and the Agenda 2030 implementation at the local and national level.

Preventing and/or Eliminating Gender Based Violance Against Women and Girl With Disabilities Program

We develop outreach programs intervention and custom fitted wheelchairs for women and girls with disabilities who are victims of violence. We partner with Civil Society Organizations such as Migrant Care to address intersectionality issue of Indonesian women’s migrant workers, who are those have disabilities due to accident and violence during they work in other countries.

Adaptive wheelchair Program and Training

We believe, it is critical to train our communities and local OPDs to provide good quality of services on assistive device, in particular individual custom fitted wheelchairs. It includes to learn on how to do individual assessment, fitting and modification of the wheelchairs, and repairs/maintenance.

OHANA Craft & Livelihood Program

OHANA develop this program, as a pilot activity supported by the LOREAL Paris to support women with disabilities to have additional income from fish poultry, making useable bags/sewing projects, and wheelchair repair shop.

OHANA LAW CENTER (OHANA)

OHANA formed “OHANA Legal Center (OLC)” to support our trained paralegals in collaboration with PERADI Sleman to provide pro bono lawyers for women and girls with disabilities as victims of all forms of violence in Yogyakarta Province.
